SNSD ft. Super Junior

When I saw this:I thought "WOW THAT'S WOOKIE IN A WIG NEXT TO TAE YEON?!"
and now that all I can think is "Ryoewook looks bad as a girl" :C

it is a trauma for my mind ha.
D'espairsRay UK leg of their EU tour has now begun!
If anyone is going to see them tomorrow, i will be there~ I will also be handing these out possibly tomorrow, and at their London show on saturday!

I completely forgot to blog about these when i got them in the post haha.

SO if you can't tell what that is, it is a nice fat pile of flyers for Miyavi's upcoming EU tour at the end of the year, where he will of course be coming back to London for a show! See you there!

KPOP UDATE I

I thought this would be a nice idea to keep everyone up to date with whats going on in the Korean music industry atm~ C:

Looks like it isn't going too well at the moment for the korean music industry...
With the mass of complaints made against Hyori's new poster campaign, complaints have been made by the korean public that the posters are too slutty, shameful and inappropriate and should all be removed as soon as possible, and now SM has had to change the album cover for SNSD's latest release because of a scandal regarding the plane used on the front. With this I am unsure of what exactly the problem is, but I think it has been complained that the plane was used as a japanese bomber in WWII and that it is very inappropriate to have on the album cover.

Now onto the boys;
Onew
from SHINee has been hospitalized. He is ok now, but he is just one of the many boys who (normally under SM :/) has been rushed into hospital because of being over worked. This doesn't come as a shock to me as he is one of many boys who ends up in hospital because of exhaustion...At least we can be glad there hasn't been an idol sucide for a while :/ Is it me or do they normally tend to be the girls??

NOW, to say that it is not all bad news at the moment for the industry C: 2NE1 and 4minute have announced there is no contest between them and both groups are doing amazingly well! I personally love them both and cannot wait to hear more from them and see the new generation of girl groups in korea~~ There is some sexy heat between Rain and Megan Fox and Wonder Girls are off to tour USA! And SNSD have paid respects to S.E.S. and SHINee to Michael Jackson with cover songs and dances~

Also
here is something to make you smile!!

real? part I

I have been on a weird music rollercoaster lately.

I ended up completely emptying my itunes and ipod and replaced all my music with some weird stuff. I am not really sure where my music taste is going, or why this is happening but it has left me with some questions in my mind about the music industry. Some of which I find myself getting really worked up about and I can't really find a reason why, or a way to explain my reasons for it.

I wanted to mention some things that really caught my eye lately in this post.

The first of which is a post I came by on a forum. Scroll down to the last post on the page, made by nanshi. I dont really know why I wanted to share it, but I think it is deffinately worth a read if you have a spare few minutes. You can read it here

The second is a quote i found whilst doing a project, that I really felt inspired by. The quote is from Bangalter, a member of the group Daft Punk:

"We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise.

We're trying to separate the private side and the public side. It's just that we're a little bit embarrassed by the whole thing. We don't want to play this star system thing. We don't want to get recognised in the streets. Yes. Everyone has accepted us using masks in photos so far, which makes us happy. Maybe sometimes people are a little bit disappointed but that's the only way we want to do it. We think the music is the most personal thing we can give. The rest is just about people taking themselves seriously, which is all very boring sometimes"
I don't know what the point to this really was, they were just two things I wanted to share~
